Automatic Electric Black 3-Slot Rotary Pay Telephone: AE telephones were used in non-Bell Telephone territories. Original electronics are typically updated for proper operation. These quality LoweTechPhones products dial-out and ring-in like a normal telephone, but do not need coins to operate. They do, however, still make the familiar 'ding-ding' when a coin is deposited. Most are equipped with working locks and keys, some include the coin box. These can be fitted with a rubber coil receiver cord or the optional armored steel receiver cord. These handsome, highly sought-after telephones are quickly becoming scarce and expensive. Early Model Western Electric 3-Slot Rotary Pay Phones: These telephones were used in Bell Telephone territories across the nation. Original electronics are typically updated for proper operation.
