Model 2554 ITT Mini-Wall Telephones: These quality telephones were put in service in Independent telephone territories in the 1970s and 1980s. Some have modular connectors and some must be hard-wired. Each has the heavy, quality feel and a real brass bell with a volume control. Many were taken out of service and destroyed by the telephone companies.  c1970-1980s

Later models have updated electronics with re-dial and other functions,  and are not quite as heavy. c1970-1980s
